Innovation Vision

Our aim is to deliver products of value to our customers. For this to be achieved our innovation teams and applictions experts have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by brewers in an increasingly competitive and dynamic industry. Changes in consumer trends, raw materials sourcing and commercial objectives drive the requirement for brewers to be able to quickly adapt their processes and products. For over 40 years we have been supporting brewers meet those challenges of change.

New product development for novel / low cost adjuncts and new applications

  • Barley, sorghum, cassava, Acha processing enzymes
  • Novel protease system for new brewing applications (FAN, Foam and Flavour)
  • Non-GM ALDC (Biomat DAR)
  • Range of amylase/amyloglucosidases for carbohydrate and attenuation control


Legislation / labelling laws

  • Enzyme solution to beer stabilisation problem (ie removal of formaldehyde from process), replacement of isinglass finings by two different methods


Raw material control and prediction of brewhouse/final product performance

  • Mapping / tracking the malting process, prediction from raw barley


Novel texture systems - Buvatex
